Eco Homes to Carbon-Negative Homes

Certified Eco Green Homes provide a lower environmental impact when compared to traditional homes, minimising the waste of natural resources as well as the waste created during and after construction.

Since 2010 Eco Green Homes has been redefining the building industry, offering homes that are affordable and Green.

To meet international standards their high-performance homes have had features like R6 super wall insulation, fully insulated foundation with edge foundation insulation, German Triple Glazed windows, 5.4 % daylight factor, German E0 laquer kitchens, and floating underflow heating, water saving digital showers and toilets, solar technology.

Eco Green Homes started building Green homes in 2010 and achieved 8 star on HERS (Home Energy rating Tool) rating tool.

Then in 2016 started building Green Homes to meet the Homestar rating designed by New Zealand Green Building Council. EGH became the first building company to build a 10-star design-rated home under Homestar Version 3.

After several years of research, EGH is now working on building Carbon Negative homes. These homes will use the world’s latest cutting-edge technologies and carbon-negative building materials.

Their process of “First of kind” Carbon Negative resort and suburbs is underway near Auckland. This suburb will have a combination of a Green golf course, a Carbon negative and Green old age home, and a Green and carbon negative colony.
